Overall it was a good experience to deliver baby here. Bit far located from city centre and having limited option near by/surroundings. Regular checkup before delivery was really good a part from extended waiting time even though having a dedicated time slot so need to have half day or sometime full day to visit here. Not sure about hidden cameras, if it’s true then need to be more cautious while selection of this hospital. Doctor always prefer natural delivery until n unless there is no complexity. Apartment was good though it was bit costly.

My impression comes from the Open doors Day at this hospital couple of months ago. It was so crowded because not organized. They tried to do everything in once, but mainly it was about promoting their paid services which are apartments where you can stay after baby delivery. All dosyć was on that. What is interesting that we were proposed to wait for English speaking group, and it took 2 hours, just for a tour with the proportion of this apartments. We saw one room where actually you spend your time for giving a birth which was tiny, very tiny. And our partners were not allowed to enter, when in another hospital men and women were allowed to visit a hospital. I couldn't get any important information like a list of midwifes, about lacation specialists etc.

I had worst birthing experience here. During labour they get patients admitted, but provide minimal care. They are just interested in doing ktg, blood tests (normal routine procedure), if the patient is in excruciating pain they dont care. I was given epidural after 7 cm of dilation. Till 7 cm, i was in horrific pain in a general ward with minimum availability of midwife. And even my husband was asked to leave after 8pm, as their visiting hours were over assuring they will attend to my needs. But that dint happen till i puked and they understood my urgency. They showed they dint have labour room available. My question is y was epidural given after 7cm of dilation, due to which i had to tolerate pain more than 13 hours. Highly insensitive staff, avoid this hospital, as they have limited labour rooms and not sure how they assign them to patients (priority wise). Considering number of patients getting admitted here, they need to improve. Lack of empathy.

I had an extremely disappointing experience at Ujastek Hospital in Kraków. The level of care and attention fell far below my expectations, especially considering how crucial maternity services are. I strongly advise anyone considering giving birth here to explore other hospitals in Kraków. Your comfort, safety, and the quality of care are too important to compromise.

My wife was admitted to Ujastek to give birth to our daughter. From day 1 until the day of discharge (total stay of 7 days), I can say nothing but good things about the hospital and the staff. As an expat, I was a bit skeptical about issues with communication between my wife and the staff. But I was amazed to see that everyone who cared for my wife's well-being was not only fluent in English, but they were extremely caring, kind and helpful. We initially stayed in the common wards until labor. Then we were moved to the private room we reserved prior to getting admitted. The hospital is extremely clean and well equipped. The doctors, nurses and midwives are extremely competent and skilled to handle any situation. Both my wife and I felt we were in great hands throughout our stay at the hospital. I want to make this an opportunity to sincerely thank everyone who took great care of my wife and all the rest of the staff who do an amazing job taking care of mothers and babies alike. I highly recommend Ujastek for any expat and native alike, who are planning to deliver their baby.
