  I was admitted to public hospital to do ureterscopy procedure which they gave me time after 2 weeks. So I thought since I don't want to wait I go to private hospital and just have it done as soon as possible first they told me you need another consultation at our hospital although I have everything in the report . Asked for time they told me with insurance you should wait 2 months if private on your expenses first visit after a week for just consultation. ! No one knows 1 month before hand that they will be sick. If I will pay 10k I was expecting a proper service.

  Dr Szopinski's diagnosis, manner, information provided and expertise throughout the process of looking for a highly qualified surgeon and and undergoing surgery, plus follow up were exemplary. All staff including all the nurses were welcoming relaxed, friendly and highly professional and thoughtful during registration, pre-op and post operative care. The hospital itself and equipment were all of high quality. Thoroughly recommended. I am very fortunate that Dr. Szopinski and Mazovia Szpital were recommended to me.

  I don't recommend it, I won't go back, and I wouldn't go there because: 1. I was misled into thinking a certain procedure wasn't covered by the National Health Fund (NFZ) and had to be done privately for 600 PLN. A month later, I had the same procedure done for free at the hospital on Szaserów Street. 600 PLN was paid in my back. 2. Underestimation of postoperative pain: despite repeatedly reporting severe pain, I was given paracetamol and pyralgine tablets, and the medical staff didn't take me seriously and didn't decide to administer stronger medications or the same medications intravenously. 3. Unprofessional behavior by the doctor, who told the nurse that "it's more about showing interest and getting attention." The comment wasn't directed at me directly, and I'm not certain it was directed at me personally. However, doctors should refrain from making such comments publicly, regardless of the patient in question. Such subjective opinions should be shared behind the scenes. 4. The surgery took place around noon. I received no information about the outcome, course of the surgery, or complications throughout the day. During my evening round, I asked the doctor for information and was told, "I don't know, I didn't operate on you." I understand that not every doctor knows everything about every patient, but a simple piece of information like "there were no complications" would have been important to me. 5. At the appointment with the anesthesiologist, upon admission to the hospital, in the questionnaire, and during the meeting with the doctor before surgery, I provided all the medications I regularly take. Upon discharge from the hospital, I received a prescription for an antibiotic that interacts with the medication I regularly take (it increases blood levels and inhibits metabolism). Although I could have read the discharge summary on the spot and checked for interactions online, I ignored it and relied on the expertise of the doctor who prescribed the antibiotic. My family doctor recommended a slight dose adjustment. To avoid being so gloomy and negative, I'll mention that the nurses and orderlies were kind and professional, and the hospital was neat and very clean. Update from 25/02/26: Dear Sirs, I'm not interested in being contacted by email to clarify anything. I was in the hospital in person, and no one was interested in my opinion, so I doubt my email will suddenly put everyone on the same page. We have nothing to explain to each other. You have access to my medical history, so please clarify this without my involvement. Thank you.

  I would like to wholeheartedly thank the entire Mazovia Hospital team for the excellent care they provided during my stay. From the very first moment at the reception desk, where the staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and friendly, I felt at ease and well cared for. Special thanks go to Dr. Michał Ostròwka, who operated on me, for his professionalism, extensive knowledge, calm demeanor, and very humane and empathetic approach to the patient. Thanks to you, despite the stress of the surgery, I felt in good hands. I also thank the nurses and all the medical staff for their patience, care, and warmth at every stage of my treatment. I wholeheartedly recommend this hospital.
