  Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to wholeheartedly thank the entire staff of the Wejherowo Hospital for the professional, compassionate, and exceptionally efficient care I received during my stay. On December 4, 2025, I was admitted to the Emergency Department with a bifurcated artery and a stroke. From the very first moments in the ER, I was met with tremendous understanding, calm, and kindness. The doctors, paramedics, and the entire staff demonstrated not only high medical competence but also a great heart. All necessary tests were performed quickly, and I felt completely cared for and safe during such a difficult time. I then moved to the Neurology Department, where I felt almost like I was in a private clinic. The care was top-notch, both medically and humanely. Special thanks go to the attending physician, Dr. Katarzyna Kurr, who took excellent care of me, kept me informed about my condition and treatment plan, and devoted her time and attention to me. All the nurses in the Neurology Department were incredibly kind, warm, and helpful. I could always count on their support, quick response, and kind words, which were of great importance to me during my treatment and recovery. Thanks to your professionalism, empathy, and commitment, I was able to get through this incredibly difficult experience feeling that I was in the best possible hands.   I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Michał Jastrząbek. I personally know many doctors, and in good conscience, Mr. Michał is a doctor with a vocation. He is very kind and attentive, and explains everything before and after surgery. When he has a patient, he gives his all to ensure they feel safe. I personally underwent a very complex surgery and was in the Orthopedics Department in Wejherowo. I wholeheartedly thank Dr. Michał Jastrząbek. Sincerely, Sabina

  It's very difficult for us to understand the situation we're facing at this hospital. We're here with a child who's almost two years old, and we've been waiting for almost seven, literally SEVEN HOURS. The worst part is not only the waiting itself, but the complete lack of information—no one says anything, no one can tell us how long the wait will be or what's actually happening. A two-year-old child, seven hours without food or water, no information, exhausted by the situation. In places like this, people count not only on medical assistance but also on the feeling that someone understands their situation. Unfortunately, this was lacking here. We hope that communication with patients will improve, as it's a very difficult experience for families with small children. I strongly recommend that those with small children in need of help choose another hospital.

  My opinion of my stay at the pregnancy and obstetrics wards is mixed. Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff – the midwives were engaged and kind. Conditions were good; admission was quick after my water broke, everything went smoothly. The tests were performed efficiently for me and my baby, and information about ongoing procedures was mostly well-communicated. The option of renting a private room with a bed for my partner is a big plus. Cons: I rate the lactation consulting as poor. I was encouraged to supplement my baby with formula, even though, as it turned out, there were no clear indications for this. This made it difficult for me to start breastfeeding later. The lack of psychological support and unsupportive comments about breastfeeding did not help in the first few days after giving birth. The labor itself initially went well, but it became difficult in the final stages. The medical team worked intensively, but I lacked complete information, including the reasons for the incision or early cutting of the umbilical cord. The stitching was incredibly painful for me. Afterward, I felt a heavy emotional burden and a lack of understanding why the birth had gone differently than I expected. The meals were unfortunately substandard, although this is fairly standard in many hospitals. In summary, the hospital has many strengths, especially in terms of the staff's approach and the organization of the admissions process. However, the lactation support, communication during labor, and emotional support could definitely be improved.
