  My visit with Dr. Nowak was a huge disappointment. I feel like she may have medical knowledge, but I rate her as zero in terms of professionalism, manners, and empathy. It's impossible to have a normal conversation with her. She constantly interrupts me mid-sentence, not allowing me to describe my symptoms. I felt like she was completely uninterested in my opinion, despite my attempts to explain my problem. After all, that's why I went to her... The examination was mechanical, quick, and very brutal!!!! Expert knowledge doesn't exempt a doctor from the responsibility to be gentle, especially in such a sensitive specialty. But the most striking moment of the visit was the doctor's statement that vaginismus doesn't exist! This is a scandalous trivialization of a condition that is a medical condition and a real source of suffering for many women. Hearing something like this in a gynecologist's office in the 21st century is embarrassing for a doctor and unacceptable. If you have any doubts about vaginismus, I invite you to seek further education on the subject ;). What's more, I paid for the visit in cash, for which I didn't receive a receipt! From what I've read, I'm not the first patient who hasn't received a receipt. Maybe the next visit will be with the tax office... Just like Dr. Nowak likes to reply to her comments, I wish you good luck and good health!

  I was having trouble with irregular periods, which had never happened to me before. Because of my family history, I asked for a thorough examination. The ultrasound lasted maybe a minute, and everything seemed fine. The doctor said it was stress and hormones, but she refused to order tests because she didn't need them. The solution was herbal teas to drink, and the fact that I bled for a month—well, that's how it is. Two weeks later, I went elsewhere for a private appointment and discovered I had a 1-cm polyp. I don't want to think about how it would have progressed if I hadn't investigated further. I should add that the private appointment was very comfortable for me, because bleeding for a month is a real pain, and the doctor didn't care.

  I have mixed feelings about my appointment, which was a while ago. The doctor spent a long time on her phone, and I sat there, feeling awkward for her, but I sat and waited for her to graciously deign to attend to me as her patient. The receptionist came in during the examination, and even though she wasn't peeking behind the screen (actually, the screen was so large that everything was visible, it was very uncomfortable), it was very embarrassing. A big plus is that the doctor gave me a diagnosis that no gynecologist had ever given me before. However, at the end, which was a bit unpleasant, she said that it might be difficult to get pregnant if I was stressed, because why would a child need such a stressed mother? I think it was inappropriate. It didn't bother me that much, surprisingly, but I felt a bit of a bad taste in my mouth. However, after leaving, I thought that some patients might cry after hearing something like that. I don't quite understand the gynecologist's behavior. It was the first time I'd encountered something like this, and after leaving, I had very mixed feelings. I'd say you could take a chance and go (I actually did), but be prepared for the fact that it might not be pleasant. P.S.: At first, the doctor was nicer for a while, but as soon as she found out I was on a private insurance plan, she stopped being nice and said to go. It's time to say right away that it was a package appointment. And of course, that information was already there in the registration form.

  The doctor doesn't care about the patient, she does her job casually. She didn't say a word throughout the entire visit. She looked down there and didn't even say a word about whether everything looked okay macroscopically. She didn't give me a referral for a breast ultrasound, hiding behind preventative programs that I could go privately if I wanted. This is all nonsense! I'm from the medical community, and she should have given me such a referral without a problem since she can't perform an ultrasound herself. I don't understand why anyone would choose this specialty if they clearly hate it. Soft skills are a mystery to this woman.

  I don't recommend it, and everything repeated in the negative comments is true. The nagging about the contraceptive IUD, the perpetuation of myths about infertility after hormonal pills, the ignoring of patients, and the constant clicking away on their phones about things that had nothing to do with her work (it was about a family member's cat dying after a vaccination). Because of all this staring at the screen, she can't even say hello. And the key reason I stopped seeing this doctor was the lie about the National Health Fund (NFZ) reimbursement for the IUD, which she's so good at trying to push on everyone. Read this, ladies. Clinics that have contracts with the National Health Fund (NFZ) are required to install the IUD on the National Health Fund (NFZ), meaning you only pay the price of the IUD at the pharmacy.
