My daughter was not seen by the doctor on duty in the Emergency Room on February 20, 2026, between 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM (a dark-haired man with facial hair). Initially, everything went smoothly – registration and a referral for an X-ray were made. Unfortunately, this was the end of the smooth organization of the admissions process. After the X-ray, we waited about 1.5 hours without any information about the next steps. After this time, I asked the receptionist why the doctor wasn't seeing patients. I was informed that the doctor was performing a procedure at that time. This was strange, because just moments before, he had been sending another patient to the Emergency Room. In practice, this meant that all those presenting with injuries were left without medical care for an extended period of time. Among those waiting was an elderly woman with a severely broken arm – she was clearly in severe pain; she was shaking and appeared to have a fever. Due to the prolonged wait, I asked for the X-ray to be recorded on a DVD and decided to leave the emergency room. I can't stand doctors' tardiness – they don't work for charity. The day before, on February 19, 2026, around 12:00 PM, I was in the same emergency room with my son. Dr. Szatkowski saw us. The visit was very efficient and professional – the entire procedure took about 30 minutes, and we received the standard care we should expect. I would like to sincerely thank them for their service.

I would like to express my opinion regarding my grandmother's stay at your hospital in Krynica-Zdrój. During her hospitalization, my grandmother repeatedly complained about the less-than-stellar treatment she received from some of the nursing staff. Unfortunately, my personal experience confirmed these feelings, especially regarding one of the nurses, whose behavior I remember vividly in very painful circumstances. At the same time, I would like to emphasize that I have nothing bad to say about the attending physician. She was an incredibly empathetic, warm, and kind person who showed kindness to both my grandmother and our entire family. Thanks to her, we were able to spend our final moments with my grandmother, for which we are extremely grateful. On the day of my grandmother's death, I arrived at the hospital after receiving news of her critical condition. When I reached her bedside, I discovered that my grandmother had already passed away. A nurse then appeared, whose behavior was completely devoid of empathy. At a very difficult moment, when I wanted to say goodbye to my grandmother and spend even a few final minutes with her, I was repeatedly told only that she "had to do her job." I understand the responsibilities of medical personnel, but in such dramatic moments, humanity, understanding, and a modicum of compassion for the family of a deceased patient are also important. My request was simply for a few minutes of saying goodbye to a loved one. I decided to write this review with the hope that similar situations will not occur in the future, and that nursing staff will pay greater attention to empathy and communication with patients' families, especially during critical moments such as the final moments of life.

I had an appointment with a gastroenterologist. I drove there, wasting three hours round trip because I live an hour and a half from the hospital. Upon arrival, I learned the doctor was unavailable. Why wasn't I informed? Because—as it turned out—the hospital didn't have my phone number on file, even though I'd booked in by phone. The second situation is even worse. The appointment was rescheduled, so I called just to make sure everything was okay. And surprise—I wasn't scheduled. It's worth noting that on that first, ill-fated trip, they booked me in person at the counter, so this is the second time my appointment has "disappeared." Lack of communication, lack of accountability, and a complete mess of records. In short: if you have too much time or money for unnecessary travel, I highly recommend this hospital.

I wholeheartedly thank myself and my family for the quick and efficient service in the emergency room. I had a knee injury while skiing—I expected a long wait, but the staff handled it in less than an hour, including discharge, despite being overwhelmed by patients with similar injuries. Thank you, and my warmest regards to the entire staff.
