  I strongly advise against visiting this ER for anyone expecting professional help and decent treatment. The level of indifference and lack of empathy from the staff here is simply unimaginable. My mother, a person with cancer and cholesteatoma, who could barely stand, was treated with utter contempt – hearing a doctor suggest she should have her brain "replaced" is an absolute scandal and a violation of all ethical principles. Despite having full documentation and diagnoses from other specialists, the doctors on duty (especially the neurologist and ENT) downplayed her condition, claiming she was healthy. It feels like a patient is treated like an intruder, and any attempt to assert their rights ends in verbal abuse or intimidation from the staff. It's unacceptable that the only open ER in Białystok operates this way, keeping people waiting in line for 10 hours only to send them away without any real help. The hospital gives the impression that it's desperately looking to save money at the expense of patients' health and lives, referring patients to private clinics instead of performing necessary tests on-site. It's a waste of time and a huge hassle; I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

  I was 9 months pregnant and came to the hospital with severe, regular pain. I was hoping for professional care and understanding, but unfortunately, my experience was very stressful and distressing. Instead of calmly examining me and explaining the situation, the nurse yelled at me, claiming these were "pre-eclampsia pains" and that I was "probably coming specifically for a C-section, as I have a pregnancy record from a private clinic." I told her I'd rather come and get everything checked out if I was worried, because in my current state, I didn't want to take any risks or downplay my symptoms. In response, the nurse yelled at me, saying I was "waking the doctor in the middle of the night." The doctor present at the incident simply smiled, refusing to acknowledge the nurse's behavior or my health. The entire situation was so stressful that I ended up crying – the hormonal emotions of late pregnancy only exacerbated this. I felt completely ignored and left to my own devices in a situation that required calm, support, and professional assessment. This experience was incredibly stressful for me and left me feeling unsafe and threatened, instead of safe and calm as I awaited the birth. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this facility. I expected professional care, empathy, and respect, but I was met with disregard and a lack of support.
