  I ended up in the hospital twice – obviously due to my pregnancy and my imminent due date. The hospital building is in quite poor condition – you can see how much the ravages of time have worn it down. Unfortunately, the corridors and wards are quite dirty – despite their attention, the cleaners work as if they were being punished. Regarding the most important thing – the staff – I was truly pleasantly surprised. The doctors demonstrate tremendous commitment and care for their patients. However, I was most impressed by the midwives – wonderful, dedicated women who made my hospital stay without visitors (due to COVID-19) really quick and pleasant. They were incredibly helpful both during the waiting period and during the labor and delivery itself, as well as in the postpartum room (during labor, they lit scented candles for me, played my favorite music, and made the time more pleasant in every way possible). They were empathetic, committed, and warm – the right people in the right place! Another important issue was the food – and I have to admit, I have mixed feelings about it. The dishes were truly delicious and well-prepared, but also inedible. The meal times were also strange (8:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 4:00 PM). It's worth bringing something with you, as you might be starving in the evening. I'll also share the observations of a woman with gestational diabetes – the meals weren't appropriate for her diet, and many of the dishes included ingredients she couldn't eat. In summary, despite some shortcomings in the dining and dining options, I recommend this place because of the excellent medical staff.

  My son and I had a mole removed surgically. Unfortunately, he had to be put under general anesthesia. The doctors explained everything and treated the patients with care and a smile. They discussed and explained. Even as an adult, my stress eased a bit, and I felt my child was in good hands. After the procedure, they informed me about everything and checked on me with concern after I woke up. The nurses were incredibly kind and smiling, and the anesthesiologist even spoke with me before entering the operating room. Afterward, he was given water, juice, a candy bar, and a very delicious lunch, which he ate with gusto. And the wound is healing beautifully! I wish every hospital had the same standards as we did!

  An opinion about childbirth - a story bordering on absurdity and a total failure of the system My wife's birth in this hospital was a trauma that should not have happened in a civilized country. The labor was prolonged and the situation was difficult and stressful. According to the procedure, an anesthesiologist was to appear to perform anesthesia. And there appeared - or rather there was an anesthesiologist who enters the delivery room at 6 a.m.... covered in perfume, with an attitude like something out of the worst nightmare. From the first words – dry, unpleasant, completely devoid of empathy. She sounded like the textbook definition of a tyrant in a white coat. When the moment came when every second counted and it was necessary to administer epidural anesthesia - the same lady was unable to perform the injection. Instead of focusing on help, she made comments such as: "I can't work like this", "I've never had a patient like this." Seriously? What does professional medical care for a woman giving birth look like? If this is what the public health service is supposed to look like, I don't know what to wish for other women and their families... maybe only a lot of happiness and the shortest possible contact with such staff. I definitely do not recommend it and I am shocked by the way my wife was treated during one of the most vulnerable and emotionally taxing moments of her life.

  In today's times, they are doing the best they can with the resources they have. The hospital's decor is reminiscent of the 1980s. Don't count on parking, but luckily there's a Netto store nearby and a parking lot, but you pay 3 PLN per hour.
