  Today (February 1, 2026) I came to the ER with my grandfather, who wears a catheter. He had stopped urinating and was now producing blood. He was writhing in pain. Dr. Kurzawa came out to see me and literally kicked me out of the ER registration desk because she said I couldn't read the writing on the door, and my grandfather wouldn't be admitted without medical documentation. She laughed right in my face, saying, "If she wants, she'll replace the catheter, but we'll see." I clearly interrupted the doctor's peaceful Sunday. I asked what I should do in this situation, since my grandfather couldn't stand the pain. She replied, "It's not her responsibility to replace the catheter." She told me she wouldn't see my grandfather anyway because there were more important patients and slammed the door in my face. It's outrageous how doctors at Wieluń Hospital treat people. Ultimately, I was admitted with my grandfather for Christmas outreach, where a kind receptionist saw his pain and saw him almost immediately. A doctor was found who also had no problem with the catheter replacement. The entire procedure took a maximum of 10 minutes, and my grandfather immediately felt better. Unfortunately, it takes a willingness to help others, which is more than the doctor on duty in the Emergency Room.

  This is a disaster... we arrive at the hospital because we can't breathe because of the bone - we hope someone will simply use a mirror, tweezers, or something else (based on likely medical experience) and help clear the blockage... we're told we have to go to Bełchatów because they won't admit anyone. Well... you don't get empathy, support, or help there. You go there to waste time. P.S. The numbering system in the ER is a sham. We waited an hour for a registration number, then they kindly informed everyone waiting (about 6-7 couples) that we had to go there and register the usual way, and the system is just there to be there. My question is: what did you spend the money on? Maybe instead we could buy a mirror and tweezers to help future patients whose bone is stuck and can't breathe? No greetings - an unhappy person who wasn't admitted in need.

  During my pregnancy, I was under the care of Dr. W. Wiesiołek. He is very thorough and has a unique sense of humor, which, however, did not interfere with the care of my pregnancy in any way. My pregnancy was uneventful, so I have no complaints and can certainly recommend him. The only downside is the delays in the opening hours, but that's typical in outpatient clinics. I also gave birth at this hospital and am very satisfied with the care before, during, and after delivery. I happened to be in the maternity ward and only encountered the midwives there, all very kind, empathetic, and professional. I am very grateful to Dr. Ordon, who delivered my baby, and to the midwife, Julia.
