  The deputy head of the ward reduced my pain medication by 50% despite the anesthesiologist and primary care physician's recommendation, because "we know this stuff too." It later turned out he wasn't the only one who did this. Rehabilitation requires, above all, pain-free physical exercises. Some therapists in the gym are very rude to patients (and I'm writing this based on observations of other patients). The best in gym no. 1 are Mr. Artur (the gym manager) and Ms. Kasia, who gave me very good muscle-strengthening exercises. The massage therapists, Mr. Tomasz and Mr. Filip, are also very professional when they came to the gym to cover on Saturdays. The other two therapists in gym no. 1, Sławomir and Tomasz, are only good for assisting the attendant. I had a perfect example on the last day of my workout. In the room next to me was a patient who had suffered a stroke and was paralyzed on his right side. He also didn't say a word. "Rehabilitator" Sławomir sat him down, attached his injured arm to a special leash, and told him to exercise. And that was the end of his care for the patient. After some time of the patient sitting without any exercises, he unhitched the patient from the harness and rolled his wheelchair under two crossbars used to upright patients. And I thought he would exercise with the patient, but the situation repeated itself. Then, after 10-15 minutes of sitting, he rolled the patient under a bicycle for cycling practice, and then I lost sight of the patient. It is forbidden (not by Mr. Artur, but by another rehabilitator, Tomasz) to take pictures of your cycling results, even though the head physician gave his permission. The food (despite the light diet) was completely inedible (hard cauliflowers, sometimes meat like a rubber sole, cold or overly salty cutlet). There is no buffet on the hospital premises. There is also no WiFi. In the next room, they have been without TV for a week, despite reporting it to the service department on the provided phone number. about the malfunction. On the seventh ward, on the first floor, there's a "medical assistant" named Michał. When I told him the patient next to him had been given a piece of grapefruit, as a diabetic, he didn't move from his chair. He looked through his phone and stated that he doesn't eat grapefruits. Unfortunately, the patient didn't say anything because he had a stroke. However, when I peeled the grapefruit and cut it into pieces, he ate it. The second situation with "medical assistant" Michał was when he was changing the diaper of a patient who wasn't speaking and left him uncovered and the bed unraised, like a bedbug. When I called him to finish his work, he lied that he had been taking out a dirty diaper, which was a blatant lie, because I saw another nurse taking out the diaper. The next situation with "medical assistant" Michał was in a different room. Generally, if you live in Choszczno, I advise you to come for exercises and treatments in the morning, around 8:00 a.m. to about 11:00-12:00 p.m., and then go home and live normally, because after those hours, there's nothing left to do until morning. Saturdays are just the gym, no treatments. Sundays are free. A colleague from another room on the first floor received a full-fat diet, and when he asked the person delivering the meals why he was receiving the same food as the light-digestive diet, he was told that they didn't even have full-fat meals on the first floor. The sockets in the ward are so spaced out that if I hadn't brought two extension cords from home, I wouldn't have been able to even plug in my phone charger or the remote control to raise my bed. Parking for patients is strictly prohibited on the hospital grounds. Apparently, you can only park your car on the hospital grounds for two hours. However, all staff come to work and park in the disabled parking lot for the duration of their shift from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

  My overall opinion applies to the hospital, the clinic, and the emergency department. The staff is very friendly, polite, and helpful. The doctors are thorough and always explain everything. The food is excellent. The hospital is constantly being modernized. I've been a patient myself and in the pediatric ward with children several times. The only downside is that I have to travel alone; an ambulance won't take me there... 10/10 for me!

  One star – complete lack of help for a child after an accident. On August 12, 2025, I arrived with my son after a bicycle accident – ​​he complained of a severe headache, dizziness, and a bleeding wound. We waited an hour, then were called only to be told that "the Emergency Department in Choszczno does not accept children." He was not examined, no information was recorded, the wound was bandaged, and we were told to go to Szczecin. The staff was rude and completely insensitive. It's outrageous that a child with symptoms of a head injury should be treated this way.

  The emergency room is simply terrible. One doctor on duty is rude, yelling at a patient during admission, going out for a smoke, just shocking. They give you an IV and send you home. The next day, you can barely stand, and he claims they're not here for that. So why are they there?
