  The doctor was very nice, of course, but 170 PLN for an appointment where I couldn't hear or see anything was a lot (the equipment was old). The doctor had to explain the scans to me because they barely showed anything. When I tried to listen to the heartbeat, there were only murmurs, and the doctor finally gave up. I was 16 weeks pregnant, so the baby was big, and with good equipment, I wouldn't have had to ask where the head was, and I definitely would have listened to the heartbeat. If someone's going to charge that much, they should at least have good equipment. I was there on my way from Germany, and I suspect that's why I got that price. The doctor knew I wouldn't be going back because I'm having a pregnancy in Germany. Still, I don't think there's any point in ripping people off if there's nothing to examine.

  The doctor may seem stern, but he's actually very professional, open, and empathetic. He's a true professional who will do anything to help his patients, without losing his pleasant demeanor or sense of humor. He also has excellent leadership over the gynecology and obstetrics department at the hospital in Ostrowiec, where he's the head of the department. I highly recommend him.

  A private visit is certainly different than a regular hospital visit. This very unpleasant person has no approach to patients with such intimate issues! I have very unpleasant memories of my interactions with this "doctor."
