  I recommend giving birth in Starachowice!! The midwives in the maternity ward are top-notch! They're all kind, helpful, and above all, understanding of the patients. The doctors are the same, always smiling and direct. You just have to turn a blind eye to Dr. Piotr's specific comments. Unfortunately, after giving birth, the neonatology ward isn't as pleasant as the maternity ward. Some of the midwives acted as if they were there as a punishment... literally three of the midwives deserve a medal. When they came to weigh the baby, for example, they would change his clothes themselves, even though I, the mother, wanted to do it, but they wouldn't let me. They did it themselves because it was faster, unfortunately, not thoroughly, and I had to wash the baby myself. Only after the second day of my baby's life did I find a midwife who showed me how to properly latch the baby on and how to adapt the use of a breast pump to my needs. I think it was too late... because they pushed formula to supplement the baby instead of showing me how to feed the baby effectively and effectively. The neonatologist, an elderly man, is a wonderful person. Doctors like her are hard to find. They have a wonderful approach to children, just like Dr. Wilkonska from the maternity ward. Unfortunately, the neonatology doctor—I don't remember her name—was very unkind! She didn't smile or support the mother. I'll remember the words she said after giving birth for the rest of my life. Whenever I recall a beautiful birth, I immediately remember what she said to me. Unfortunately, later, when I was in the room with my little one, she still managed to be less than pleasant. It's a shame, because a mother should feel supported by doctors and staff during the first few days of her child's life, not be overwhelmed by the behavior of the facility staff and the mother's tears…

  I'd like to ask the director of the Starachowice hospital if he knows what he's doing with the decision to move patients from the hospital's Zol to the third floor during renovations to accommodate the cardiology department. Perhaps it would be worth doing one first and then the other. Mr. Director, show some empathy for the elderly and sick people who pay for their stay.

  Recently, my sister and I witnessed a nurse in the emergency room treating a patient in an inhumane manner. It's incredible how insensitive they are to human pain and suffering. The patient was elderly, and she was running some tests on him. Behind the closed door, we could hear shouting – insults, and insults directed at the patient. When she opened the door and went into the hallway (while the patient was in a room with another nurse), she continued to scream at him, saying she would break his stumps. The doctors there aren't any better – not all of them, but most. However, I can say a very good thing about the security guard. He was very kind and helpful.

  I tried to use the night care service at night and it was very difficult to get in. The door was locked, and I could hear snoring... after 10 minutes, the lady graciously opened the door and... pissed me off, she registered me and went to wake the snoring doctor, telling him I was waiting and that I heard some bad words about me... after 20 minutes, a young doctor came in with a frown and started telling me what time it was and that I should go to my doctor in the morning. I wasted my time, the doctor punched me in the face. These people are working there. After all, someone's paying them. For what??? For this kind of treatment!!! Such a young doctor, what's next if he's already treating a patient like this? Never in my life have I experienced 24/7 care at the VW hospital in Starachowice. What a tragedy!!! The staff's behavior is reprehensible!!!! Avoid!!!! registered

  Regarding ophthalmology, I've had cataract surgery and everything would be fine, but I don't like that my first appointment after surgery, as well as before, was with a Ukrainian doctor who doesn't speak Polish well. I mentioned that I had high blood pressure, which I've never had before, and when I asked her to explain the cause, she didn't respond. She just stared blankly at the painted door and said I had to see the doctor who referred me for surgery in a month. It's shameful who hires Ukrainians who don't have the slightest clue how to converse in Polish, let alone how to treat it, to such a responsible position. This is unacceptable, and I urge anyone reading this to take appropriate steps to have these people dismissed from their positions and banned from practicing medicine. It's a tragedy what's happening in this country!
