  This review concerns the otolaryngology department. I decided to have a septum straightening procedure at this hospital, even though I'm over 100 km from the hospital, but the wait time is tempting. After the initial phone call, I wasn't informed that a sinus CT scan would be necessary, so upon arrival, I was informed that unfortunately I would need to have the test. The scan was performed, and a second appointment was made, with a procedure scheduled (about three months away). On the day of my admission, I was very pleasantly surprised by the staff throughout the department. The doctor I dealt with was very kind, professional, and competent; it later turned out that she also operated on me. After the procedure, the doctor came to ask how I was feeling and if everything was okay. The anesthesiologist was also on the ward after the procedure, which was a nice bonus in this situation. The nurses and the ward staff were also excellent and impeccable. I recommend them to anyone who has any concerns about the procedure; everything is explained with patience and understanding.

  The hospital is amazing! A very pleasant surprise! The staff is warm and helpful. They are very polite, and questions are answered without hesitation. The specialists, as in my case, provided a detailed solution without any problems or beating around the bush; they know what they're doing! The hospital uses subsidies very wisely, streamlining patient care in modern ways. The motto "help" carries the wisdom of service. Bless the medical staff, may God strengthen them!

  At the end of the year, I was a gynecology patient, and I can honestly say that my husband and I were shocked at how a patient could and should be treated. The midwives were incredibly kind and answered all my questions, even encouraging me to be comfortable before the procedure. Dr. Wilk-Mądzik was very matter-of-fact, yet incredibly kind and sympathetic. Of course, the anesthesiology team was also very friendly, especially the anesthesiology nurse. Thank you for your care.

  Let me put it this way, amidst the chaos and sheer number of patients, staff, offices, and floors... it's truly strange to me that it all works... I'd even say it works surprisingly well. The line for registration at the beginning was efficient, a few people saw the cardiologist on the ground floor - scheduled for a specific time - efficiently, the stress test - efficiently and in a pleasant atmosphere with the gentleman downstairs near the elevators, the spirometry test in the building next door - efficiently, the blood draw for testing in the laboratory - efficiently and gently. That's diagnostics for now; we'll see later. Four stars because there's a long wait for an appointment (from immediately to several weeks), and you need to be on time because of the opening hours... and the lack of lower limb ultrasounds, which I think is well-deserved. Right at the entrance are two handicapped parking spaces, and there are also two bicycle racks. Oh, I almost forgot: the hospital website, www.szpital-stw.com, has all the necessary telephone numbers (offices, departments), but sometimes it's difficult to get through.

  I would like to sincerely thank the entire otolaryngology department. The nurses are amazing – kind, helpful, and have a wonderful approach to patients. The doctors also demonstrate tremendous empathy and professionalism. The department is clean, well-maintained, and the atmosphere is incredibly warm. I came all the way from Rzeszów and I am incredibly impressed. In my city, everything is done "in bulk," without any soul, but here you feel important and cared for. The staff is so kind that they would give up their last sandwich to help a patient. Thank you from the bottom of my heart – such staff are a true treasure.
