  I gave birth last week and it was a truly amazing experience. I wouldn't have changed a thing about my stay there. I was referred to the hospital because my gynecologist thought my baby was too big. The doctors checked several times and found out they weren't. They did everything they could to help me deliver. I didn't speak Polish, although communication was a bit difficult, but they really tried to make sure I understood everything and felt comfortable. All the midwives and doctors in the maternity ward are incredibly kind, gentle, helpful, and caring. I was in so much pain, but thanks to them, I felt so well cared for. They checked on us several times a day and helped us whenever we needed them, with great pleasure and support. The birth felt like a hotel room, the food was okay, but the people and the experience I had there were truly top-notch!

  I pondered this opinion for a long time. Finally, due to the number of similar situations where others were less fortunate than me and my baby (nationally), I decided to share my birthing story at the Malbork County Health Center. I was admitted to this hospital on November 7, 2025, with a planned referral for labor induction. During my pregnancy, I was treated for gestational diabetes (without requiring insulin). Throughout my pregnancy, I was under the constant care of a private doctor, and my results – including my CRP – were always normal. I last saw my private doctor on November 4, three days before my admission to Malbork. From the moment I was admitted to the hospital, however, problems began. During my three-day stay in the gynecology ward, I repeatedly reported cramps, leaking amniotic fluid, and fluctuating heart rates for both myself and my baby. I also requested more detailed tests – including an ultrasound and an assessment of the quantity and quality of amniotic fluid and CRP. I also requested a gynecological examination. My concerns were ignored. Neither a CRP test nor any ultrasound beyond the one performed before admission was performed. They limited themselves to basic tests and checking dilation. Labor began on November 10th and lasted about six and a half hours. I gave birth to my son at 4:49 PM. He scored 5 on the Apgar scale – he was pale and had difficulty breathing. Blood tests showed a very elevated CRP. He was immediately transferred to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Gdańsk. I was left alone. Only after delivery was my CRP tested. The result: 253 mg/L – an alarming level, indicating severe inflammation. Despite this, I was discharged from the hospital the next day. The following day, I was transferred to another facility, where I was diagnosed with uterine inflammation and treatment began. It was also discovered that my son had congenital pneumonia. He spent 11 days in intensive care, receiving antibiotics, and after being discharged, he was referred for further treatment and monitoring: neurological, physiotherapy, audiology, and rehabilitation. It was also painful that our first, priceless moments together were robbed. There was no skin-to-skin contact, no breastfeeding, no kangaroo care. In the first days after birth, my baby was in another city, I was in another hospital, and my father was at home. This bond was brutally broken. In Malbork, I received no psychological support or even basic care – after the birth, I wasn't given a meal, and no one asked how I was feeling mentally, even though my newborn was taken from me. I only received help at another hospital, and later privately. To this day, we are still suffering the consequences of that neglect – health, mental health, and financial. I am undergoing psychological therapy and fear another pregnancy. This story didn't have to unfold this way. If someone had listened to me and responded in time, performed tests, perhaps made the decision to hasten the delivery or have a cesarean section, my son and I could have been spared immense suffering. The case was reported to a law firm. From what I understand, attorneys are considering filing a criminal complaint, as my child and I were likely exposed to a direct threat to their health and life. Based on the opinions of other doctors, I now know that the CRP levels were alarming, to say the least, and many such cases end in sepsis, not to mention the child's... :(.

  Good morning. I'd like to thank the nurses who worked in the emergency room yesterday, March 4, 2026. I had a breast biopsy at 12 noon. Everything went quickly and efficiently, but after leaving the hospital, I started bleeding from the injection site. The nurses took me to the examination room and took wonderful care of me. One of the nurses even wiped the blood off my jacket (I don't know her name, but if she reads this, she'll know I'm talking about her), and another one went to get me a hospital gown because mine was useless. I'd like you ladies to know that such wonderful women are hard to find. Best regards, I wish you all the best, and thank you again for your care. Ola

  Even though I live in Elbląg, I decided to have my hysterectomy in Malbork. The living conditions in the gynecology ward were fantastic! The rooms were beautifully decorated, with air conditioning and free TV, clean, and the bathrooms modern. The number of patients was smaller. Professional care was provided; two previous C-section scars and an ovarian cyst were removed during the transabdominal procedure. Furthermore, I received my discharge summary and results by email, and a little over a month later, I received a phone call asking if the wound was healing well... This is truly medical care! I wholeheartedly recommend the gynecology ward in Malbork.

  The behavior and level of empathy of the blonde lady in Noch... on March 1st is outrageous!! I understand it's Sunday and not on your way to work... but an answer to a simple question would be helpful without the stupid faces and sulking... How are people supposed to look favorably on the healthcare system when the lady at the counter makes faces as if it were a punishment and adds her own two cents? I hope someone will treat you the same way someday... And when asked what doctor is seeing you today, he'll roll his eyes and ask, "What do you know?"
