This is the first time I've encountered such a direct, matter-of-fact, and knowledgeable gynecologist. I won't go anywhere else. Great energy – it's clear Hania knows what she's doing. The office is spotlessly clean, as is the restroom, allowing patients to prepare for the exam in peace (trust me, it's not like that everywhere ;) ). I wholeheartedly recommend her.

I called the doctor, encouraged by the overwhelmingly positive reviews online. I left feeling that she probably had too many patients to care about them or their opinions. Although my previous gynecologists (for obvious reasons) performed rectal exams, she started doing them vaginally from the start. When I complained about pain, she reacted with shrugs, comparing me to other, supposedly problem-free patients, and comments like, "How can I do anything else, if you're in such pain?" Despite my pain, she inserted the probe three times. Finally, she performed the exam the way my previous doctors had done it – rectally, and it was painless. I don't understand why she pushed her method despite my complaints. I stood up from the chair shaking, but I still didn't lose trust... I wanted to know what the exam showed. The doctor responded to my questions with sarcasm ("How can you know, if you've read about it online?"). It's true—I don't know, so I ask the specialist and expect an answer! When I asked for prescription numbing creams/gels, I was told: "Why do I need them?" Throughout the entire visit, she made it clear that I was/will be an insurmountable problem, some kind of emergency she'd never encountered. Finally, she asked: "Should we schedule another appointment, or should we end it here?" (Am I such a big problem that it's better for her to end? After all, I came with a specific issue that needed to be resolved, and it wasn't resolved...). I left feeling ashamed and humiliated. Her attitude leaves much to be desired. If you're a patient who fits the doctor's mold, go for it. If you're looking for something specific, appropriate gentleness in difficult situations, or sensitivity, a visit with her may prove to be an unpleasant experience.

I've been seeing this doctor for over 10 years and I'm very satisfied. She handled my second pregnancy. She's straightforward and to the point. 🙂
