  I am deeply impressed by the kindness, empathy, and genuine care shown by the staff. A special thank you to the midwife from Room 6 of the Gynecology Department, her warmth, professionalism, and clear, detailed instructions made me feel calm and confident. My case required medication not available in private clinics, and I felt truly cared for every step of the way. My visit with gynecologist Anna Śliwińska was equally positive. She immediately put me at ease and carried out the examination in a very gentle, calm, and professional way - completely stress-free and exactly how an ideal gynecological visit should feel. Despite long queues and many patients, no one is overlooked. The level of care and attention here is something I have never experienced, even in private clinics. Thank you for creating such a supportive and humane environment.

  My review is based on the CTG ( KTG) exam. After the renovation the hospital looks from outside and inside much better, new elevators, and this department is specifically renovated. It is locater on +1 floor. The nurses are nice, busy but trying to do their best. For this exam you need to count like 3 hours, as at the same hour could be signed up a several women. And it takes like 40 min. After this you need to wait your turn to get the exam explanation and doctor's ( ginecologist) check. The doctor was young, professional. I got informative explanation on everything I wanted. Just next to it there is a bistro with super tasty food for a fair place. I think for those who stay in the hospital for longer time, f.e. after baby delivery, them and their partners can use this place.

  I recently had a laparotomy surgery here to remove ovarian cysts and fibroids, and I had to stay for 2 nights in the ward. The experience was quite satisfactory; the place is clean, modern and comfortable, and the staff members are professional and attentive. Even though I’m a foreigner with really limited Polish language skill, everything went smoothly and many staff members speak good level of English so I didn’t have to feel anxious about communication issue. Recommended for foreigners in Krakow.

  The delivery was by cesarean section, with top-notch anesthetic and pain management care. However, the marketing from the antenatal classes about lactation consultants and breastfeeding support bore little resemblance to reality. The father of the child was treated very objectively during kangaroo care, and the mother had to insist on kangaroo care after the procedure, even though the child was born in very good condition. Despite my refusal to supplement with formula, the child was given formula in the neonatal ward (the consent to supplement was pushed to the father in the emotional aftermath of the procedure). During my hospitalization, I had significant difficulties with feeding my child. Despite expressing my need, I received no support; they only recommended purchasing breast shields from various brands and commented that I had to keep trying. This significantly hindered breastfeeding after returning home, and only with the support of a community midwife did breastfeeding recover.
