I'd like to leave a review about the gastroscopy department at the new hospital in Świebodzin. The staff was neither polite nor tolerant of Ukrainians. I was not informed about the procedure—they immediately laid me down and began the endoscopy. I was not explained how to breathe or swallow. When I asked if the procedure would be painful, I was told I could opt out. During the examination, I overheard one of the staff members say, "How can you perform diagnostics in Ukraine if there's a war there?" (I thought the staff member was simply making fun of me during the examination.) A Polish patient came after me, and I heard every step carefully explained to him—how to breathe, how to swallow, and how to behave. I was shocked by the difference in treatment based on nationality. Please take this situation into consideration.

I wanted to share my opinion about my hospital visit. An ultrasound was scheduled under the National Health Fund (NFZ), and it was on Sunday. Dr. Kamil Kowalczuk saw us on time (to the minute). He was also very approachable and took time for his patients, which doesn't happen often. He restored my faith that healthcare can function properly and with respect for patients. I had a colonoscopy at the hospital with Dr. Andrzej. He and the nurse were wonderful people. The procedure couldn't be performed due to my condition, but the atmosphere and empathy I encountered were incredible. I highly recommend this place.
