If you want treatment, go to the back of the facility, because that's where the private doctor's entrance is. It's been nothing but nonsense from the moment I registered. The biggest disappointment was probably when the doctor assured me there was no such thing as a referral for a fecal test for a child, much less a free one covered by the National Health Fund. Besides, most of the people working here are experiencing midlife crises and burnout. I don't recommend it.

On the ground floor, everything is fine; you can learn everything and receive friendly service. Suddenly, you walk upstairs, see a nurse for the first time, and she sees you back. You get scolded for coming to her, hoping she'll help you or teach you something. The nurses on the first floor should have retired long ago with such an approach to patients. If you're reading this, take a cue from the younger ones on the ground floor. Warm greetings to the ground floor, but not to the first floor.

I personally visited this clinic and never encountered any rudeness. Even the visit to the otolaryngologist was thorough. The doctor's approach to people with disabilities is beyond reproach. I've seen various doctors and the initial examination was crude, but here the doctor examined me with understanding, explained what needed to be explained, prescribed the necessary medications, and thank you. The nurse was kind and efficient, and when I needed help, she helped.

A warning to those who believe these are private providers. I call, ask, and they send me to a public facility 🤦🏼♀️ I'm looking for a private doctor, so PRIVATE. If the person calls and is determined to go not PUBLIC, i.e. not under the National Health Fund, what's the problem? I know Giżycko is a small town, but the language remains the same.

The clinic itself is fine. The building is fine. The doctors are so-so. X-rays are on-site. However, patient service leaves much to be desired. The women at the reception desk, whether for X-rays or for family doctors and specialists, making appointments or providing information, should be trained in friendly or at least professional service. Instead, we receive casual, ignorant, and insolent responses, often with anger. The term "window lady" is still used at this clinic. Only in emergencies, for referrals or prescriptions. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this approach.
