  Krystyna Karasińska-Siepak - My visit with this doctor was a very unpleasant experience. The doctor was rude, didn't explain the procedure or the results, and just threw around empty words, leaving me clueless. The examination was painful, and the doctor's communication was unprofessional. I do not recommend seeing this specialist.

  I'd like to start with the positives – the lady working at the reception desk is a wonderful, warm person. I thank her so much for being so helpful and kind :). I'm 8 weeks pregnant, and this was my first visit covered by the National Health Fund. Unfortunately, I encountered a blatant violation of my rights as a patient and a lack of basic medical procedures. Dr. Jan Kuś: – didn't conduct any physical (gynecological) examination, – refused to order a Coombs' test (which another doctor recommended), ridiculing its use at this stage of pregnancy, – scoffed at progesterone treatment, claiming it was "just for private payment," – questioned the validity of folic acid, saying that "if you're taking vitamins, you don't need folic acid" – which is inconsistent with the recommendations. When I cited the recommendations of another (private) doctor, he said: "Please decide who treats you." (Which is illegal, as I can see both private and National Health Fund (NFZ) doctors.) Not to mention the fact that he didn't even see my documentation from the first (private) appointment, nor the recommendations, nor did he conduct an interview. Basically, I could have pretended I was pregnant. - When I listed the serological tests I wanted and those performed in the first trimester, the doctor told me he would order what he wanted, not what I wanted (these weren't my "whims," ​​but the recommendations of another doctor, as well as the Regulation of the Minister of Health of August 16, 2018, on the organizational standards of perinatal care (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1756), which clearly states which tests a doctor is obligated to order). I left that appointment feeling uncared for and disrespected. I felt disrespected, confused, and discouraged from continuing to use the National Health Fund (NFZ). The situation described violates: – Article 47c of the Act on Healthcare Services Financed from Public Funds, – the Regulation of the Minister of Health on the Organizational Standards of Perinatal Care, – as well as the patient's right to dignity, information, and health care services.

  If you're already attending a clinic and want to change your doctor for any reason, I strongly advise against Dr. Jan Kuś. I started the appointment by saying I'm already in my second trimester and need a second-trimester ultrasound. When I asked for a referral, the doctor arrogantly and unpleasantly replied, "Go back to where you've been going before," "Let the doctor who gave you the referral in the first trimester write the referral," and the same thing over and over again. I had other questions for the doctor I wanted to ask, but I had to end the appointment early because it seemed like a circus on the doctor's part. The stars in this review are only for the lovely receptionist.

  And unlike some of the ladies here, I recommend Dr. Kubaty. He's always kind and reliable, and he performs ultrasounds with exceptional gentleness. With my pain, this isn't easy. He diagnosed endometriosis and an irritable sigmoid colon, and he initiated treatment that saved me from further surgery. However, he's a reserved man, and if you expect him to joke around or chat about anything, you're in the wrong place. He's also very busy, and you have to take into account that he might simply lack the energy to be enthusiastic, which some people perceive as rudeness and arrogance. On a professional level, my mother had endometrial hyperplasia after undergoing cancer treatment, which he also cured by forcing the oncologist to change her medication. We are both very satisfied with his care. The community midwife is also very kind and helpful. You can get a prescription by phone (or they call you back, or if you have a prescription via text message, they'll send it). Medication is usually delivered the next day, even during COVID. Sometimes it's difficult to get through by phone, but it's worth trying. I have nothing bad to say about them.

  I know Mr. Kubaty from the clinic on Galla Street. This man shouldn't be a doctor, especially not in this specialty! He's flippant, unpleasant, and rude, and he doesn't like women! I won't comment on his qualifications because he refused to share them... He answered my questions in a very unpleasant way, having nothing to do with medical knowledge, and I had just had cancer surgery...
