  I'm writing this from the perspective of a former patient, thankfully, and with a heavy emotional charge, because I believe such places should be especially safe. Instead of support, empathy, and the feeling that someone is truly watching over the health of both the child and the adults (my partner, midweek, at 8 a.m., with a fever, was referred to the National Health Service or the Emergency Department because there were no beds available at the doctor's office 🙃. An hour later, he was admitted to the LX facility on Jana Pawła II Street, where a bed was found under the National Health Fund (NFZ) – it's incredible how overcrowded the emergency departments are afterward 🙃). I still feel the aftereffects of my visit to the "pediatrician" (definitely the wrong word for this person), even though we are currently receiving good, empathetic care elsewhere. If you're a parent of an infant, but also someone looking for a suitable place for yourself that will give you peace, a sense of security, and real support, I highly recommend avoiding this facility, especially since there's another, better clinic just a few meters away. And if anyone has had a similar experience, it's worth knowing that institutions like the Patient Rights Ombudsman exist and that such situations should be reported, because they shouldn't happen.

  Today I had a very unpleasant situation. I was supposed to have an EKG test for my daughter – the referral was issued on Friday (3 days ago). The woman (Małgorzata K.) in the treatment room refused to do the test, stating that she wouldn't do it without a doctor because the doctor needed to see it. The referral also stated that the results needed to be printed out – meaning I could take the test to the doctor myself. From the very beginning, the woman was rude and brusque. She gave the impression that she was being punished for being at work and that she wasn't even bothering – she was there because she was there, but leave her alone… It wasn't just my opinion; the woman in front of me – just asking a question – felt the same way. I haven't encountered such rude treatment of a patient in a long time.

  I waited 8 months for an appointment with a cardiologist, two days before the appointment it was canceled due to absence, and the doctors were unable to offer me another date and told me to change the clinic.

  Today I'm giving it one star because it's impossible to give it less. A few years ago, this was a very nice clinic and the ladies who worked there were full of empathy for patients, kind and helpful. Now we're back to the communist era. The registration desk is visible from the entrance, the only place where the lights don't turn on. When you approach the counter, you hear a voice saying... "Please enter your PESEL number on the keyboard..." OK, I'm sitting in front of a large monitor in the semi-darkness, aiming at the black keys. All I see is the large monitor, or rather its dusty back. The registration ladies giggle, you can hear them but unfortunately you can't see them. They're probably very ugly and embarrassed. 😉 DISRESPECT! Women are there as punishment. They should only work on the hotline, where eye contact is not required.
