I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I've been waiting for an appointment with the doctor to confirm my pregnancy. I got an appointment for today a while ago. I should add that the woman at the front desk was nice, but then I encountered an older doctor. I walked in and was immediately told, 'What do you want from me?' I said, 'Confirmation of pregnancy,' and the doctor immediately became rude and arrogant. I had the impression she was having some kind of problem because she couldn't explain clearly what was going on. She said she wouldn't do the test because she didn't have an ultrasound and that she was going on vacation soon. I explained that I called and asked for an appointment only to confirm the pregnancy, and she said that pregnancy wasn't confirmed immediately; tests were done and only then confirmed—the final step. Then she went on to say that in her day, ultrasounds weren't even available and pregnancies were confirmed by other methods. The way she spoke was incomprehensible, she got lost and confused, talking straight to herself, saying, "Well, if you want it quickly and for an ultrasound, go SOMEWHERE, I don't know where they'll do it for you," and finally, "Goodbye, please go, we won't do anything." I was very stressed and sad because after waiting, I didn't learn anything, and I left as I went in. Women, please don't go there, take care of yourself somewhere else.
