During my first visit, the doctor confirmed the pregnancy but said there was no embryo echo. I was five weeks pregnant at the time. He told me it would be a flop, but he recommended a repeat beta hCG test. The next day, I repeated the beta result (it was rising), but during the phone consultation, the doctor said, "With this beta, the embryo echo should already be there. Please report this to the hospital." At the hospital, the doctor said I didn't need the hospital right now since nothing was wrong and recommended a repeat ultrasound the next day. Dr. Piwowarczyk saw me the next day but still found the same thing—no fetal echo. He wrote me a referral to the hospital with a diagnosis of miscarriage, stating a gestational age of 7 weeks, even though I was 5 weeks pregnant. He began explaining why a miscarriage could have occurred. He suggested that as soon as I got my next period, he would help me achieve a healthy pregnancy. The next day, I went to the hospital, had a repeat ultrasound, and the medical staff were puzzled as to why I was being referred. They repeated my blood results, and I was kept under observation in the hospital. The tests continued to show that my beta hCG levels were rising, and I had no other alarming symptoms. After three days, I was discharged, and two weeks later, I returned for a follow-up ultrasound at the hospital, where a heartbeat was already visible. I am currently seeing a different gynecologist, who is managing my "healthy" pregnancy—the same one that Dr. Piwowarczyk had already written off at 5 weeks.

He's the only doctor in the area who can treat PCOS and IOP without prescribing hormones. His approach is very professional, and the treatment brings the desired results. He's the only doctor I don't go to stressed out about.

I found this doctor some time ago, and now I have the pleasure of seeing him for my first pregnancy. I've been to many doctors, but this is the first time I feel truly cared for. He was a perfect choice! He's a great doctor, and I'll always recommend him wholeheartedly.

I wholeheartedly recommend him. He's a very good specialist; I haven't been this happy with a doctor's appointment in a long time.
