We were with two children, both with type 1 diabetes. Of course, there are good days and bad days, and we had a bad one at the UCK. Frustration and devastation, nothing came of the visit. The doctor didn't even touch the child. A waste of time.

I wonder where such negative, subjective reviews come from. I visited the doctor on Monday at the University Clinical Clinical Center. I was delighted with her approach to patients, the way she explained everything objectively and referred me for tests. I felt her personal care and interest in my daughter. She was also cheerful and had a sense of humor. After my first visit, I can't say a bad word about her.

She was very kind and to the point. She explained to my daughter and me how the thyroid works, and she didn't immediately overload the patient with medications. We felt very well cared for. She's a true doctor.

I went to the appointment with my daughter, and the doctor completely misunderstood the condition. She didn't listen to what we had to say. She was nervous, unfriendly, and a waste of time and money. She ultimately gave us a referral to the University of Illinois at Chicago to prove she was right. Unfortunately, she didn't! My daughter received excellent care from another endocrinologist, neurologist, and gastroenterologist. This was a waste of time and money. My daughter's results were tragic, but at the cellular level. She also developed insulin resistance.

Zero patient care, just cancel and leave. Lack of empathy. I learned nothing about my health. It's a waste of time and money to spend on someone like this, because doctors can't be called that.
