In 2012, when I was 5 weeks pregnant, I ended up in the hospital, even though I was supposed to have only an ultrasound, because the gynecologist I was seeing at the time didn't have the equipment. The doctor determined there was a blighted ovum and the pregnancy needed to be terminated. Since I was experiencing all the symptoms of pregnancy and there was no bleeding, I decided to discharge myself. Upon hearing my decision, the doctor was rude and arrogant. He called me and my husband (we were 18 and 20 at the time) idiots, crazy, and psychotic, and said I would definitely return to the hospital because if I didn't terminate the pregnancy, I would die. I don't know who ordered the discharge papers, but they contained nothing but nonsense, such as spotting, which wasn't there. As you can see, I AM ALIVE, and so is my baby! The pregnancy was uneventful; the baby received a 10 Apgar score and weighed 4640g. I can't express my anger and grief, which remains with me to this day. I hope you didn't hurt anyone else...
