  Was at the clinic on 20 August 2024 Payment reference: 0001202917 We are a couple in our 40s who contacted Bocian in Szczecin after receiving some clinical test results that were positive considering our age. In Denmark, we had previously undergone fertility treatment due to the man's impaired fertility following a serious illness, but without success. However, after years, there was an unexpected improvement, and since we also received good reproductive test results indicating good possibilities for the woman despite her age, we sought help for infertility, as it is no longer an option in Denmark. Therefore, we emailed Bocian to ask if they could assist us. Bocian responded by email, indicating that they would like to see us for a consultation in Szczecin, which is 800 kilometers from our residence. We were, of course, interested in this since we wanted help, and through their email response, Bocian had indicated their willingness to help based on our individual and specific questions and information. However, when we arrived for the consultation at the 20 august 2024, we were met very negatively by Dr. Ewelina Budzińska. We had prepared our physical documentation, brought it with us, and placed it on the table in front of Ewelina Budzińska. But she didn’t even bother to glance at the numbers or explain their significance to us, even though the papers were laid out in front of her. She began by telling us that we would have a 1% chance of pregnancy based on general averages (not specifically assessed from our results). We were asked if we wanted to be parents or grandparents? And told that we were gray-haired (which neither of us are). This is highly incompetent and lacks empathetic medical handling of patients in a vulnerable situation. Even though it was the man who had been the problem over the years with fertility, Ewelina Budzińska eventually started accusing out of the blue my wife of having something wrong with her and claimed that this was why she couldn’t be treated in Denmark. But this is not true. My wife has always been healthy, has no fertility problems and never had, which we had documented and brought with us, but which Ewelina Budzińska did not bother to look at. - Unprofessional. If the clinic was not serious about reviewing our test results or did not want to help us, they should have been professional enough to decline us via email instead of inviting us from Denmark to Poland just to belittle us, without even looking at our prepared documentation, which immediately seemed better than the general statistics we were presented with, and which anyone can find on the internet. My wife is Polish and therefore understood everything that was said. Although I am Danish and didn’t understand much of the conversation itself, I immediately sensed the unpleasant degradation directed towards us. What we were instead offered was egg donation. But this was not what we came to inquire about. So it seemed to us that trading in donor eggs was a business for Bocian. Firstly, we do not understand why Bocian simply didn’t write to us in an email that they didn’t think they could help us, instead of inviting us in to belittle us in this way. We don’t mind the journey from Denmark to Poland if there was a real possibility of treatment. But we strongly object to being invited to Poland only to be belittled. The meeting with Bocian became the most unpleasant ending to our futile attempts over several years to have children that one could imagine. We never in our wildest dreams imagined such a disgusting meeting, as we had with Ewelina Budzińska, either professionally or personally. This type of treatment is far from what one should expect from a fertility clinic, which is supposed to provide support in such a vulnerable situation. Therefore, we cannot recommend contacting Bocian in Szczecin, especially not if one of the parties has passed the age of 40. Regards Ole Jensen (and wife), Denmark

  I signed a contract with the clinic back in July 2025, paid, the clinic made the embryos and that was it. Now they are not interested in me as a patient, since they make money by storing the embryos for three years, and I am obligated to pay for this according to the contract. The doctor with whom I had a consultation in July does not contact me at all, they did not give me any information on what to do next after the embryos are made. How to prepare for the transfer procedure, what medications will be prescribed to me, what is the time frame, at what time of the cycle is it best to come for the procedure, and so on. There is no communication with the patient at all. When I write to the clinic and ask what to do next and how I should proceed, whether the doctor can send me an action plan, the clinic writes back that I must pay for the consultation with the doctor again. I am not a new client, I do not need a consultation, I need a protocol or action plan from the doctor who worked with me in July. As a result, they write to me I've been waiting two weeks for a response to my letter from the receptionist, and they politely send me away... but I still haven't had any contact with the doctor or the clinic director. I don't recommend this clinic in Szczecin to anyone!!!! It's a waste of money... The doctor doesn't provide any help or support for you as a patient. P.S. It's already February 2026, and I still don't have a plan for my procedure. My doctor at this clinic is Ewelina Budzińska.

  Now I'll share my experience with the Bocian Clinic. I'm a woman with PCOS, and my husband and I have been trying to conceive for four years now. We decided to go to the Bocian Clinic because I read all the wonderful reviews about the clinic and the specialists. The clinic itself is nice and good, but I made an appointment with Dr. Ewelina, who wasn't so nice. I understand that a doctor has to tell you what to limit, what to do, etc., but this doctor was downright insulting, misleading, unkind, and downright nasty. She also scared me into thinking I had a genetic condition. I had it checked myself, and all the tests were positive, so I don't know how she determined this. So, ladies, I don't recommend this clinic to you, and especially Dr. Ewelina. I almost fell into a depression because of her. Best regards!
