A year ago, I was scheduled for shoulder arthroscopy at this hospital and assured that such surgeries are performed there. After a year of waiting, I was even given an expedited appointment for February 3, 2026. On the day of the procedure, I was admitted to the ward as usual and prepared for surgery (tests, cannula, an anesthesia interview). The doctor then announced that this hospital... does not perform shoulder arthroscopy and the procedure would not take place. I was discharged with a referral and instructions to find another hospital, after a year of waiting and subordinating my personal and professional life to the surgery. This is a completely unacceptable situation and an extreme lack of organization and respect for the patient. Bareja would be proud of such a scene in his film...

In March, I had hip replacement surgery at the hospital in Oborniki, performed by Dr. Szabelski. The complete professionalism and very thorough, yet empathetic care of the doctor and the entire team helped me through this difficult time. I admit, I went into the procedure out of necessity and was full of anxiety about what the post-op experience would be like. The fantastic team in the orthopedic department, including the physiotherapist, tried to help me whenever I needed it. The department is very well equipped with the necessary medical equipment, and the cleaning staff is very thorough. Izabela

I'm so grateful to the staff and doctors for their treatment and care. I was in the isolation ward from November 5th to 13th. I was admitted with severe pain—they examined me immediately and began treatment. Every day, the doctors came in, took an interest in my condition, and examined me. The nurses are very kind—in the first few days, I called often because I was in severe pain. I received IV drips and pain medication.

We had a similar situation. On Saturday, they took their son to the "doctor" after 6 PM with a fever. He saw him, and he had cold sores on his mouth, but I couldn't see them. He wrote something down on the computer but didn't write anything down. 🤬 On Monday, they came back to the doctor. She was simply shocked, with a fever of 39°C, and the cold sores were even worse, both on his lips and in his throat. She prescribed us medication. Thank you very much, but... my husband got sick leave until 2026. 🙀 The accountant said, "Okay, we had an appointment on Wednesday too, and you wrote a sick note for your son. 😳 How is that? 🤦🏼♀️ And my husband should go to the hospital for the entire sick leave period until they sort it all out. Only on Friday did they know something, but it's not over yet, I think. 🤨 This is not okay. Please pay attention to this. Lack of competence."

It's hard to recommend this hospital; my husband and I were treated there in two different wards. I'm sad to say that taxpayers' money is being wasted, while inmates in prison are treated better. "No empathy," of course, doesn't apply to everyone working there. The internal medicine ward is a disaster. It's understandable that they're tired, but how can they forget basic duties: administering medications, serving meals, changing bed linens? The patient has to ask for it themselves, which is a disgrace. And one more thing: the quality of the meals. I'll repeat myself, but inmates are fed better. Nothing has changed there in five years. And what does the hospital management say about this?
