  In 2023, I was diagnosed with a uterine fibroid, which caused prolonged menstrual bleeding and, consequently, anemia. I underwent two unsuccessful hysteroscopies in Otwock. The fibroid grew, I experienced bleeding, and according to most doctors, the only solution was to remove the uterine body. Fortunately, I found Dr. Paweł Piekarski, who, despite the size of the fibroid, attempted to remove it, informing me that one procedure would likely be enough. Indeed, the doctor performed two hysteroscopies at the Institute of Mother and Child Health under full anesthesia. And a miracle happened: the fibroid was completely removed, and I feel like a new person. I no longer have heavy periods or bleeding; I can function normally, work, and enjoy life. I'm happy to have found a doctor who is so professional, so empathetic, and concerned about the well-being of his patients. A huge strength of Dr. Piekarski is that he always responds to messages or calls back, so every patient feels cared for. Thank you again for everything, Dr. Piekarski.

  Dr. Paweł Piekarski managed my pregnancy in 2013, which ended successfully with a C-section. Later, due to my move from Warsaw, we "parted ways" for a long 12 years. I returned to the doctor with a fibroid, which grew to a size of 3.5 x 2.5 cm within two years, causing prolonged menstrual bleeding, which in turn led to severe anemia. The gynecologists who examined me over the past few years downplayed the issue, claiming the fibroid wasn't that large and should only be monitored. Dr. Piekarski immediately decided that the fibroid needed to be removed and, of course, started iron supplementation to alleviate my anemia. A specialized examination in his office allowed him to assess whether it was possible to remove the fibroid alone or whether a radical hysterectomy (removal of the uterus) would be necessary. Fortunately, the former proved possible for me. We scheduled the procedure at the Institute of Mother and Child, which was performed under general anesthesia, on a day-case basis. Before the procedure, the doctor warned me that it might be impossible to remove such a large fibroid in one session, but fortunately, that scenario didn't materialize. Everything went smoothly. Immediately after the procedure, I experienced moderate menstrual-like pain. The removed fibroid underwent a standard histopathological examination, which revealed no abnormalities. Recovery from the procedure was very quick. Light bleeding appeared the next day, followed by light spotting for a few days. I experienced no pain. I was advised to maintain a healthy lifestyle for six weeks, which I must admit I wasn't particularly committed to. My first period, which I expected after the procedure, was quite delayed (about a month), but when it finally arrived, it was finally normal, just like in the pre-fibroid era. And maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration, but I truly felt like a newborn. My blood count and iron levels are also perfect. So, I highly recommend a quick decision about the procedure! There's no point in waiting, and let's not allow ourselves to be told that this is just how we look or that something "needs to be monitored." Today, I regret that I endured so much pain instead of immediately seeking help from Dr. Piekarski, in whom I have complete trust. I know few doctors who are so professional and dedicated. Today, in times of widespread distrust of public institutions and authorities, including, unfortunately, doctors, being able to trust someone, believing that they simply know what they're doing, is priceless. Dr. Piekarski has another undeniable advantage – he makes you feel at ease, which is not always the case with a gynecologist. And he's the only doctor I know who returns calls and texts (my friends are incredibly jealous of such a doctor ;-)

  Z całego serca polecam doktora jako wyjątkowego specjalistę w swojej dziedzinie. Posiada ogromne doświadczenie i imponującą wiedzę, co daje ogromne poczucie bezpieczeństwa podczas każdej wizyty.   I can only speak highly of Dr. Paweł Piekarski. He's a very professional, empathetic, and cultured doctor. He guided me through the entire treatment process in such a way that I felt completely comfortable and safe. He answered all my questions and devoted a lot of time both in his office and at the Institute of Mother and Child, where I was hospitalized. It's clear he's a very well-educated and experienced doctor. I highly recommend him!
