  Unfortunately, when I read similar stories, I see myself in them. I was diagnosed with hyperprolactinemia – they started me on Dostinex. Then I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism, even though my results were normal. I was given excessive doses of medication – 100 mg of Euthyrox. I was also told I had adrenal hyperplasia. For two and a half years, I was treated for diseases that – as it later turned out – I didn't have at all. The turning point came by accident. Before my wrist arthroscopy, during my medical history, I listed my "illnesses." The doctor looked at me and said it was impossible for a young girl to have so many illnesses. Urgent tests were ordered, and I was to report the results the day of the procedure. When they saw my TSH level was 0.001, the head doctor was immediately called. I was told point-blank that if I hadn't had these tests, I might not have woken up from the anesthesia. The head doctor wrote a letter to Dr. Szczurowicz. She blushed as she read it. She reduced my medication dose so I could have the procedure. That was my last visit with her. After the arthroscopy, I was referred to the University Clinical Clinical Center (UCK) for my "endocrine problems." There, they analyzed my entire 2.5-year-long medical records for several hours—a dozen or so people were involved. The conclusion was clear: I don't have any of the previously diagnosed diseases. My thyroid results were normal, and the fact that it's slightly smaller doesn't mean there's any abnormality. I was also told that for 2.5 years, my thyroid had been practically inactive because it had been "shuttered" by high doses of hormones. The doctors couldn't say whether it would regain full function. They recommended a gradual reduction in the dose and observation. I went home and cried. In 2016, I spent about 2,500 złoty on treatment that ruined my health. I could have paid for it with my life. At the University Clinical Clinical Center, I was also told that Dr. Szczurowicz has a reputation in the medical community and that there are more patients like me. It wasn't a mistake in interpreting a single result. These were years of unnecessary treatment, unfounded diagnoses, and a real threat to my life. Ladies, take care of yourselves; your health is the only thing that matters. P.S. My thyroid is working, and I'm not taking Euthyrox.

  I've been using Dr. Władysław's care for two years and am very satisfied with the results of my treatment.   I don't recommend it. The doctor scheduled frequent (monthly) appointments, which, including tests, cost me several thousand złoty. She indicated that I had anovulatory cycles and a fictitious problem with hirsutism. I was afraid I would never get pregnant. I found another endocrinologist who helped me with my problems, and I don't have such frequent visits because everything is stable and under control. This opinion does not constitute defamation under Article 212 of the Penal Code, but constitutes permissible criticism. Criticism is a socially beneficial and desirable action if undertaken in the public interest, if its purpose is not to harm another person, and if it is reliable and objective.

  Unfortunately, I don't recommend it. Treating PCOS with birth control pills; Advising against laser hair removal when my mental health was getting worse; When I reported worrying spotting, "I'll see at my next appointment"; A lot of expensive medications were prescribed, which didn't bring any improvement (medication for diabetes when it wasn't present); Monthly visits, then every two weeks (250 PLN) to check my B12 levels. I didn't notice any improvement, and we weren't able to resolve any of my symptoms; After finishing the medications, the doctor didn't respond to text messages requesting a prescription. Despite initial trust, there was ultimately no improvement in my health despite taking so many medications.
