Registering with an occupational health clinic with a referral from your employer is a nightmare. The wait is over an hour, with only two offices open, and only three people seen during that time. It's a complete misunderstanding of what's going on there.

This review concerns the clinic in Nowa Wieś Rzeczna. After left hip replacement surgery (in mid-February), I moved two days later to a rehabilitation center upstairs for almost two weeks. Rehab began on Monday, quite intensively (about two hours a day), but under the watchful and friendly supervision of specialists. After completing my stay, I made significant progress; I think I'll be walking without crutches after another dozen or so days. The medical and hotel facilities, from doctors to nurses and support staff, were professional, friendly, and smiling. The food was plentiful and delicious. In summary, I can say YES: Keep it up when the ship is on the right track.

To register for occupational medicine, you have to pick up a number and then wait 2.5 hours. I've had tests done in various places in Poland, but this is the first time I've seen such incompetence. Steer clear.

The doctor's office is always crowded with customers. After the changes to the registration process (having to pick up a friend from the machine), everyone knows their place. Of course, there will always be someone to complain, but now you can wait. The queues to see a doctor are still there, and I suspect they won't disappear anytime soon. It won't get any better for now, unless you believe the promises of politicians. One thing that needs to change is the telephone queue for registration. It's difficult to get through.

I had to go to my family doctor with a sore throat. Unfortunately, my doctor was on sick leave, so I was registered with Ms. Hartuna. This person treats the public health center like her private farm. She throws you out of the office if you don't have a mask (there are no guidelines for mandatory mask-wearing). Once the swab test revealed my condition, I was asked to go to the pharmacy to get a mask. Upon returning, everyone in the hallway outside the office knew what I was suffering from! The patient who left the doctor's office before I arrived was informed of my condition and was discussing it with other patients in the hallway! And this doctor was talking to me about ethics because I wasn't wearing a mask! Paranoia...
